Group Tuition
Now introducing group tuition!
This is a chance to have all the benefits of 1:1 tuition with me, and learn in a group of children of a similar age. I find group tuition is a little less intense than 1:1 and the ideas flow in a more organic way.
We will start by focussing on maths and English, but where the learning takes us is up to the children! We will follow their interests, and as their guide, I will plan activities to suit their individual learning needs.
Home education groups are currently booked for a Tuesday afternoon, last 1 hour and 15 minutes and are limited to a small number of children in each session. There is a seperate session for ages 4-7 and 8-11. Each session costs £17.50 and payment for a half term is made up front through the Joy Connection website.

Steam Stars
This weekly class will focus on some very important skills your children need to learn for the changing world. There are currently 2.8 million jobs in STEAM related subjects in the UK alone. AND it's the fastest growing sector. It's a no brainer. You need to get your children involved.

I know a lot of parents are concerned about the rising use of AI and how it could replace a lot of jobs in the future. Now really is the time to get these kinds of skills boosted.

Math-Art-Matics
Math-Art-Matics aims to help children to discover all about maths skills through the use of art. Each week we look at famous artists, learn some maths skills through this and make some art ourselves!
This has been a popular class, and I am available to deliver a session at after school clubs, enrichment activities or holiday clubs.
Awesome Author Academy
Come and join Abi as we make our very own books! Learn something new, and put it into a book that your friends and family can read. Themes vary from amazing animals to bodies to history and art. This is run as a pop up session in the holidays, or as an after school club.
Watercolour Club
In Watercolour cCub we learn to express our creative sides. Each week learn different techniques and create beautiful paintings. We will learn new and different ways to use the paint to create different effects each week.
This ran as a summer club, and will be making a reappearance! Watch this space!

Join Abi as we learn to tackle mathematical challenges by thinking critically, analysing problems, and devising strategies to solve the maths investigations!
Designed for children who love maths but need a challenge to use their skills in other ways. OR for those who have fallen out of love with maths and need to see how fun it can really be!
